Hey guys, I'm so sorry I haven't posted in over a week! Life has been so so busy! Work, socialising etc. Last week in particular was super busy, so please forgive me!
I've been getting so much positive feedback from the other previous posts, thanks for all the lovely comments and mails, and pictures of your new boots and lipsticks!!
SO, today I'm going to talk beauty blenders.
I only bought mine two weeks ago and I am obsessed. I've seen other bloggers blogging about it and to be honest I wasn't that impressed or won over. My best friend uses a beauty blender and I always think her foundation looks amazing, so beautifully blended and pretty. So it had been on my mind to give it a go and then I was in Stila and decided to invest. I also bought so much other stuff including their iconic "Stay All Day Foundation" and Two absolutely gorgeous eye shadow palettes ( I plan on doing a post on these so keep your eyes peeled).
I'm way behind with this latest product. The Beauty Blender, has quickly earned and maintained a cult reputation. It's a must have in any makeup artist's tool box and now in mine. The spherical-cone shaped sponge promises flawless application of any base product, including primer, foundation and concealer. To use you have to wet it (I know it sounds crazy, applying water with foundation to your face!!!!). Trust me it works! So, hold it in your hand and put your hand under a tap of water and let it get wet. Squeeze the excess water away. Put some foundation on your hand and then add the product to your blender. Then, dab/bounce the product to your face (this dabbing/bouncing motion is a little harder to get the hang of but after a few strokes you will master it). Literally I am obsessed, my foundation looks flawless and smooth and hasn't taken really any effort at all. It's definitely a much quicker way of applying foundation and if you're a busy person then this product is for you!
To avoid germs make sure you wash it after each use. Again it's so quick, you can wash with baby shampoo and let it air dry.
Mine cost me €13 from Stila. You can purchase these pretty much every where. Most top beauty brands have there own Beauty Blender's. Boots, Super Drug and most Pharmacies have these too. They cost anything between €10-€27.
So ladies start investing!
You can thank me later :-)
Love Fiona Xx
